Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts tempts us with a variety of offerings – from enchanting holiday anthems, to a toe-tappin’ musical – you’re sure to find a performance (or two!) to get you in the holiday spirit!
Sister’s Christmas Catechism – The Mystery of the Magi’s Gold | December 8-17
In an unusually jolly mood, Sister, the tart-tongued, ruler-wielding nun, teaches her students the story of the Nativity and asks for their help to solve the greatest Christmas caper ever. Part of the Late Nite Catechism comedies, each performance is unique and will appeal to people of all ages and faiths.
‘Twas a Girls Night Before Christmas – The Musical | December 9
Five women gather for a night on the town to laugh, cry, gossip and just let their hair down during the craziest of times – the holidays! Featuring classic Christmas songs and contemporary hits, this all-new musical will have everyone singing and dancing along.
Scottsdale Philharmonic | December 10
Conducted by Robert R. Nichols, these professional musicians will perform a special holiday program featuring classics of the season.
David Britton Christmas – Sounds of the Season | December 15

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s Wild Swingin’ Holiday Party | December 22
One of the most popular swing bands on the road today cruises into town with its jumpin’ and jivin’ Christmas extravaganza featuring one-of-a-kind originals and reworked Yuletide classics.
