Community Connection: Spotlight on Esperança
Posted on June 22, 2020 by Laura LuckyWHAT THEY DO:
This Phoenix-based non-profit coordinates and connects with local organizations in the communities it serves to provide disease prevention, food security, surgical missions, clean water, ecological housing, and proper sanitation. Helping some of the most vulnerable communities worldwide, Esperança also serves the Valley’s most at-risk populations with these vital resources.
With a goal to help the indigenous organization and local communities reach sustainability and self-sufficiency, Esperança’s partners have the experience, knowledge, cultural understanding, and expertise to work with rural communities and governments to best communicate with the community and organize these vital projects.
