Community Connection: Spotlight on Happily Ever After League

WHAT THEY DO:
With a mission to support Arizona mothers undergoing treatment of, and recovering from, cancer; Happily Ever After League (HEAL) has kept its goal since its inception in 2004 of never turning away a qualifying mom in need. With financial assistance to help offset costs of cancer recovery, and emotional support provided with monthly social outings and outreach, HEAL has positively impacted the lives of thousands of Arizona families.
One of the cornerstones of HEAL’s legacy is The HEALing House. This home serves as a gathering place and a safe, warm environment for mothers and their families to come together in search of camaraderie and support. Over the years, HEAL has established a number of programs at the House such as Mommy & Me Tea, holiday parties, Giving Thanks Day, and spa days where volunteers come to offer beauty treatments and pampering to cancer patients.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
From donating money, to volunteering, to attending fundraising events; there are many ways you can aid HEAL in assisting women during what can be the most stressful and painful time of their lives.
