Good News: It’s Better to Give
Posted on September 20, 2020 by Laura LuckyEven while many Americans have been hit with the burden of COVID-induced unemployment, reduced wages, work furloughs, and business disruption; studies show that charitable giving has not only continued during these difficult economic times but has actually increased. A survey from LendingTree.com reports that two-thirds of us have not decreased our amount of giving this year. 56% of respondents say they are making regular recurring donations, and 30% have continued to pay for services they are no longer receiving during stay-at-home protocols such as housekeeping and babysitting.
