Our Favorite Fire Pits in Scottsdale!
Posted on December 12, 2019 by Laura LuckyBrrr! It’s a bit chilly out there. That’s fine with us, as we love cozying up to a crackling fire with friends and family this time of the year. Unlike back East or the Midwest, our Scottsdale winters are chilly enough to make us reach for a furry throw blanket but still nice enough that we can lounge in comfort outdoor by a fire pit. With that in mind, we came up with a few of our favorite patio/fire pit dining options in North Scottsdale. Perhaps we’ll see you there!
Isabella’s Kitchen
Not only is the golf-course setting absolutely sublime, but this Italian eatery in Grayhawk has a killer patio for drinks or dining. Make sure to arrive in time to catch a famous Scottsdale sunset while settling in on their large al fresco terrace. You’ll find generously sized tables with a fire pit in the middle, smaller vignettes for more intimate seating, comfy couches, and a roomy grassy area for the little ones to run around while you enjoy the adult camaraderie.
Preston’s Steakhouse
Head upstairs to their expansive outdoor patio where you’ll delight in panoramic Pinnacle Peak views and vast, starry night skies. You’ll find plush seating, space heaters, a fireplace, and a fire pit to make your cocktail hour all the happier. Plus, their full dinner menu is available upstairs as well. Why not make a meal of it?
The Plaza Bar at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess
Just steps from the hotel lobby, the outdoor Plaza Bar offers comfortable sofa-style seating with multiple fire pits strategically situated throughout. If you’re a fan of “mixology,” you’ll enjoy their inventive, hand-crafted signature cocktails, and if you’re so inclined, a selection of fine cigars. This is where you come when you need a little “vacation” in your evening.
The Vig McDowell Mountain
Sometimes you want a little fun & games to go with your evening, right? We love the huge patio here accented with retro strung lights, low-slung Adirondack chairs, fire pits, and plenty of large-group or small-group seating. With views of the McDowell Mountains looming up-close, you can take in a friendly game of cornhole or bocce ball while you sip and dine.
