Perfect Patios for the Pooch
Posted on September 20, 2020 by Laura LuckyWith the gorgeous fall and winter weather on the horizon, comes the desire to dine al fresco with our friends and companions. But what if your best friend just happens to be four-legged with a wagging tail? No worries, we’ve got you covered. We’ve found a few places in North Scottsdale that not only welcome your pooch but actually encourage it. Woof!
O.H.S.O Brewery + Distillery
The location at Hayden and Frank Lloyd Wright is a favorite for their all-around “Fido friendliness.” You’ll find lots of other dogs and their owners kicking back and relaxing on the lively, spacious patio. The picnic-bench-style wooden seating can serve as a cozy little pet nook right under the table – perfect if your pooch is a bit shy. Just ask, and your server can bring over a water bowl and house-made dog treats (made from spent grains from the on-site brewing process). OHSOBrewery.com
The Bourbon Cellar
At Scottsdale Road and Pinnacle Peak, this fine-dining establishment manages to wow with the upscale menu yet keeps the vibe casual and approachable. It’s perfect for when you’re craving fresh seafood or USDA prime beef steaks, but you don’t want the muss and fuss of an ultra-fancy steakhouse. You’ll also find gourmet burgers, salads, plenty of delicious starters, and the largest bourbon selection in the Valley. Even better, their pooch-friendly patio allows you to bring your fur baby along for your night out. TheBourbonCellar.com
The Living Room
With a North Scottsdale location at Market Street at DC Ranch, the relaxed ambiance here offers a casual place to put your feet up and unwind – perhaps, as the name implies, as comfortable as your living room! Maybe that’s why the patio must feel like home to the four-legged patrons. The contemporary bistro-style cuisine, a massive list of wines from around the world, and a menu with varied options such as sushi rolls, prime rib sliders, flatbreads, bruschettas, and more; make it one of our favorite places to bring our furry companions.
